Skills Assessment

This will be a pre-SRT(A) tune up. Bring all of the gear you’ve been issued so we can be sure everyone is equipped. All of the current techs will contribute a thing or two to the subject review. Pick a few things you think are important.

Class size is limited. You must contact Dave Burkhart if you need to get registered for this class for CPR certification or re-certification. For a slot, members need to email Dave with name, squad number, phone number and date they would like to attend. There are 3 classes currently on calendar.

Navigation training at Pine Trailhead.  Before leaving cell service, open Cal Topo to the Nav Training folder. Please bring compass and fully charged phone.

This is a 16-hour 2-day required course for all new search and rescue volunteers.   Members must take this course within their first year of joining Tonto Rim Search and Rescue Squad.
